The Nervous System
The basic role of the nervous system is to coordinate the voluntary and involuntary actions within most multicellular organisms. The nervous system contains the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system's contains the brain and spinal chord and is responsible for the integration of the information that the brain receives. The peripheral nervous system contains nerves that connect to the central nervous system and sends the message from the central nervous system throughout the body.
